Stroud, Pence & Associates, Ltd. ( SPA )
SPA has offered structural engineering services in the Mid Atlantic area since 1974. Our firm currently has a staff of 24 structural engineers and, 19 technicians licensed in most of the eastern United States. SPA specializes in structural design, construction administration, and special inspections for a wide range of projects, including commercial, housing, higher education, K-12 education, government, performing arts, medical, industrial, waterfront structures, parking structures and water and wastewater treatment. Other services include forensic investigations, feasibility studies, and design of special structures.

Headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia with offices in Glen Allen, Virginia and Raleigh, North Carolina, SPA has been responsible for the design of buildings and other structures with an annual construction value of around one billion dollars.
